Hari Raya has arrived early thanks to the Malaysian AEON Foundation’s commitment to generosity through the AEON Mesra Ramadan initiative, benefiting 10 local charity homes and organizations over the last weekend. A total of 345 children had a memorable shopping experience at selected AEON Malls and AEON BiG outlets nationwide.

This year, MAF introduced a unique setting for the main celebration at Hospital Tunku Azizah. Here, 40 children and 40 families received extra support from the Foundation, receiving money packets and essential food items to assist with their Hari Raya preparations.

On the same day, in the parking area of Hospital Tunku Azizah, AEON Credit volunteers, together with AEON Group and hospital staff, prepared and distributed 1,000 servings of bubur lambuk (a local porridge traditionally distributed during the month of Ramadan) to visitors, patients’ family members, and healthcare workers.

The main event was attended by esteemed guests including Dr. Shamsul Anuar (Director of Hospital Tunku Azizah), Datuk Iskandar Sarudin (MAF President), Daisuke Maeda (MAF Vice President and AEON Credit (M) Sdn. Bhd. Managing Director) and Tsugutoshi Seko (MAF Treasurer and AEON CO. (M) BHD. Deputy Managing Director). The event was also attended by Cheng Heng Guan (AEON Insurance Brokers (M) Bhd. Managing Director) and Naomi Mikuni (Chief Credit Officer) together with other Foundation Committee Members and AEON Group Senior Managements.
