AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad (“AEON Credit”) has been awarded for the Company of the Year (Financial Services) Award for Financial Inclusion & Community Empowerment at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2026, making its third consecutive year of receiving a Company of the Year recognition.

The award was presented by YB Puan Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, and received by Naomi Mikuni, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Governance & Transformation Officer, on behalf of the Company.

The recognition underscores AEON Credit’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion through responsible financing, inclusive financial solutions and financial literacy initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact within the communities it serves.

In FYE2026, AEON Credit disbursed RM526.9 million in social financing, benefitting 48,094 individuals. The Company also strengthened its financial literacy efforts as an official partner of Bank Negara Malaysia’s Financial Education Network (FEN).

During the year, AEON Credit conducted four financial literacy programmes benefitting 694 students nationwide, with programme outcomes measured using the FEN Financial Education Measurement and Evaluation Framework in FYE2023, the Company’s initiatives have positively impacted more than 1,000 participants.

Moving forward, AEON Credit will further expand its efforts through the AEON Credit Young Financial Wellness Programme across four selected MARA Junior Science Colleges (MRSMs), supporting the next generation with essential financial knowledge and contributing towards Malaysia’s national financial literacy agenda.
