AEON Bantu, the flagship disaster relief programme by Malaysian AEON Foundation was initiated to assist victims in the states of Pahang and Johor who had recently been hit by sudden flood. On 25th Feb, homecare boxes worth RM 27,000 were distributed to 315 families in Kg. Sg. Pandan and Kg. Permatang Badak, Kuantan, Pahang with the help of AEON Credit volunteers, AEON Group volunteers and local community heads.
Next on the 10th March, another relief aid took place with the support from Sri Gading Parliamentary Member’s Office, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Living Costs (Batu Pahat) and Batu Pahat Red Crescent Society. YB Tuan Haji Aminolhuda Bin Hassan, Sri Gading MP was also present during the handover session held at SJK(C) Hwa Nan together with volunteers from AEON Credit and AEON Group.
A total of 450 homecare boxes worth RM 40,000 consists of non-perishable food items, hygiene care and sanitary were distributed to three relief centers in Batu Pahat, Johor.
