MAF AEON Hijau: Invasive Fish Removal Programme

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad participated in AEON HIJAU: Invasive Fish Removal Programme, organised by the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) in collaboration with Komuniti Skuad Pemburu Ikan Asing (SPIA).

Held at Sungai Damansara, Selangor, the programme focused on removing invasive suckermouth catfish (ikan bandaraya) to support biodiversity conservation and a healthier river ecosystem. Together, 52 volunteers from across AEON Group companies successfully removed 311 kg of invasive fish, contributing to ongoing environmental conservation efforts.

AEON Credit was represented by Faizul Bin Hamzah with 15 volunteers from AEON Credit, demonstrating the Company’s commitment to supporting environmental conservation efforts and preserving Malaysia’s natural ecosystems.

The programme reflects AEON Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship and biodiversity conservation, while encouraging collective action towards protecting and preserving Malaysia’s natural ecosystems for future generations.
