AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad (“AEON Credit”) today introduced FacePay via AEON Wallet, Malaysia’s first-ever FacePay payment experience, and launched its first Digital AI Flagship Branch at AEON Mall KL Midtown.

FacePay: Pay with Just Your Face

AEON Credit is pioneering payment experience with FacePay that lets customers pay using facial recognition alone at AEON Supermarket Midtown. After shopping, customers can proceed to selected self-checkout counters and pay with a quick face scan, with no cash, card, physical wallet, phone or QR code needed. The service is available exclusively at AEON Supermarket KL Midtown from 5 November 2026.

Customers simply register their face once through the AEON Wallet app and can pay using AEON Wallet or an eligible AEON Card. With built-in liveness detection and Face Code verification, FacePay delivers a secure and seamless payment experience as AEON Credit continues to introduce advanced services through the AEON Wallet.

From 5 November to 31 December 2026, customers can earn an additional 1x AEON Points with FacePay, with up to 6x AEON Points on everyday groceries, while campaign points last.

AEON Members can also enjoy at the member lounge with complimentary coffee and snacks, further enhancing their shopping experience.

First Digital AI Flagship Branch: An Exclusive, Lounge-Style Experience

AEON Credit’s first Digital AI Flagship Branch at KL Midtown is designed to feel like an exclusive lounge rather than a traditional branch. An AI Greeter welcomes customers and guides them to the right service, while private Smart Pods let them explore products on a digital panel or speak with a live online agent. The Flagship Members’ Lounge gives members a comfortable, exclusive space to relax, enjoy refreshments and take part in community activities.
